We believe in creating meaningful impact—not just through the buildings we protect, but also by repurposing what’s left behind. When taking on new properties, we often find furniture and goods that still have plenty of life in them. Instead of letting them go to waste, we seek opportunities to donate them to local charities and communities in need.
Most recently, we were delighted to support The Park College, a specialist FE college, delivering training programmes for young people with autism and moderate learning difficulties, developing employment skills and qualifications. From a former school site, we donated chairs, tables, and couches to enhance key spaces across the college:
- Main hall – Chairs and couches for meetings and events
- Common room – Tables for students to gather and eat
- Art room – Seating for students to create
- Student kitchen – Stools for food preparation
- Classroom – Chairs and tables for learning
Located by Kennington Park, The Park College even has its own student-run café—where we can confirm the coffee is fantastic!
