With the arrival of Spring, the Brixton Prison Garden is getting a well-deserved refresh.
As part of our ongoing commitment to social impact, our team members Lindy and Alessandra took some time out of their day to breathe new life into the space—planting colourful seasonal flowers and preparing the garden for the brighter months ahead.
This garden was originally brought to life in 2022 in collaboration with charity partner Bounce Back. Together, we transformed an unusable outdoor visitor space into a calming and welcoming environment for families visiting their loved ones in prison.
The space includes planters, benches, a mural by a Brixton-based artist Isi Boyd, and thoughtful design details intended to soften the atmosphere and promote connection.
The team will be tending to the garden over the coming weeks, and we’re looking forward to seeing it come into full bloom. We’ll be sharing an update later this spring once the space has fully flourished—watch this space!
