Pip is one of our innovators who is bridging the gap between art and technology, in a way which explores how immersive technology can be used to enhance performance arts and create new means of reaching audiences. Pip has worked in immersive, interactive and site-specific theatre for the past ten years, and is constantly looking for new ways to innovate the industry.
This work is more important than ever, as people are striving to rebuild their industry around the incredible hurdles thrown up by the pandemic. At the beginning of the pandemic, The Round Live lost all the work which had been lined up. Rather than give up, Pip pivoted his business and raised almost £500k to transform their consultancy-based business into a product-based business developing innovative 3D streaming tech.
Being a LOWE Ambassador and benefitting from the discounted license fee has allowed him to invest back into his business and will enable him to continue to focus entirely on his company. As an Ambassador, Pip wants to connect and work with the many talented and innovative entrepreneurs, creatives, and developers within the LOWE community, and as someone with a lot of ideas, who loves brainstorming ideas and solving problems, we can’t wait to see what collaborations Pip comes up with! Pip is also now in a position to recruit new team members for his business and would love to hire from within the LOWE community where possible!
